Support and setup help
Storyblast works best when purchase access, plugin linking, and the local Codex bridge are handled in order. Use this page as the canonical setup and support reference.
Contact support
Email support@storyblastai.com with the email used at checkout, a short description of the issue, and a screenshot of the plugin state if you have one. If the problem is bridge-related, include whether http://localhost:8787 opens on your machine.
1. Access
Buy Storyblast on storyblastai.com and use the same account inside the plugin when you choose Sign in to Storyblast.
2. Plugin upload
Storyblast is currently distributed as a downloadable plugin package. Buyers unzip it locally and import the includedmanifest.json file through Figma desktop.
3. Local bridge
Storyblast generation currently depends on a local Codex bridge on this machine. If the bridge is offline, the plugin can link your account but cannot generate.
Common fixes
- If Storyblast says access is missing, confirm you are signed in with the same email used during checkout.
- If the plugin cannot reach the bridge, confirm the bridge is running at
http://localhost:8787. - If ChatGPT login opens but the plugin still shows locked auth, return to Figma and run Check bridge again.
- If you are configuring Storyblast from this repo, the local bridge command is
pnpm run social:bridge.
